B is for Backing Down

When is it time to back down? When does it matter? How does it feel?

These are questions that can be answered when you are in a position to take action. When you feel you have reached an impasse, then back down. Listen to your body and do what it recommends.

If you are moving forward and it feels awkward, then stop and take a breath. Review your surroundings. Give it a moment and then move forward slowly. When it feels like you are moving in the right direction, continue moving forward.

If you feel you are moving against the current, stop and take an accounting. If you feel you can't move forward any more, then stop. Breathe. Breathe and breathe again. Listening to your body may be the only way to move forward.
